TEACHING

I have many years experience teaching students at all levels: from complete beginners to postgraduate students and professional artists. I am a member of faculty at the Royal Drawing School, where I teach on a range of courses focusing on colour, imagination, and memory.

In November 2025 I am teaching a week long painting holiday in the French Pyrénées, details to book are below. I also have experience teaching workshops for brands and organisations, please get in touch via my contact page to arrange a workshop.

Atelier Clos Mirabel

From the 1st - 8th of November 2025 I am teaching a week-long painting holiday in the French Pyrénées where we will spend much of the week working from a life model. The course will focus on using colour in figurative painting from both a technical and emotive perspective. For more information and to book onto Atmospheric Colour in Figurative Painting, click here. All levels are welcome, from beginners from experienced artists.

I have run workshops for organisations and brands such as the Tate, Ffern and Studio Ashby. I teach participants from beginner to advanced level, and the standard format of one of my evening workshops is 2 hours. The workshops tend to focus on colour and mark-making, and materials can be provided. Please get in touch via the contact page if you would like to enquire about a workshop for your organisation.
